Scenario based Strategic Planning and Financial Projections
We help companies develop strategic plans based on scenarios together with financial
projections. Scenario planning is a conceptual and diagnostic methodology to develop,
through a systematic approach, the possible futures a company may encounter in the long
term (e.g. 5, 10, 20 or 50 years from now). Combined with the strategy scenarios we
develop the financial projections for each scenario to complement the strategic planning
process with financial planning for projected working capital, investment and financing
needs. In times of heightened global interdepencies, global economic volatility, advanced
technological change, unknown supply and ambiguous demand for natural resources
we believe that scenario planning is a rational approach to corporate strategic planning
processes focused on corporate vision and long-term implementation. We use our own
methodology for developing corporate strategic plans which provide the client not only
with long-term future scenarios but also a complete and detailed view of their corporate
strategy in the present term to date, short term (one year), medium term (two to four years)
and long term (five or more years). Once the corporate strategic diagnosis and plan is
complete we link our work to the financial planning process from the point of developing
financial projections for each scenario to identifying strategic sources of revenue
and expenditures as defined in the forward-looking perspectives. We offer our services in
various formats which can be organized and held in our training installation or in-company.
